Meets ASTM Safety Standards: This leather steel safety toe work boot with HRO designed rubber tread pattern outsole is heat, slip, impact, compression, and electrical hazard resistant to meet ASTM F2413-18, M/I/C, EH, and ASTM F3445-21, SR safety standards.
Steel Safety Toe: Steel safety toe provides an additional protective layer of defense from many hazards that may be encountered at a worksite.
Comfortable & Durable: The removable polyurethane footbed creates instant underfoot comfort, and the EVA midsole of the boot includes a steel shank for exceptional arch support, along with stability and all-day performance. The welted construction of the platform is durable and long lasting, also allows the boot to be resoled to extend the life of the boot.
Waterproof Design: The full grain leather is protected with UltraDry waterproof construction that combines a moisture management lining with waterproof components for dry, long-lasting comfort and performance.
Heat Resistant Sole: HRO designed soles have been designed and tested to perform on high heat surface and are heat resistant to melting at a minimum of 475º Fahrenheit.

  I've tried many different steel toe cowboy boots, but Irish setters are by far my favorite. They feel comfortable right out of the box, and when they do break in after a week or so they form to my feet just right. I can work a 12 hour shift in these and my feet feel fine. But anything after that, they start hurting. I work hot asphalt in the summer, and walk through mud and puddles through winter and my feet never get wet. I would say the only thing about Irish Setters is they only last me personally a little over a year. I could wear them a little longer if I really had too, but after a year, I'm ready for a new pair. If your looking for comfortable these are your boots. If you work long hours every week and beat your boots, they might not last as long as you expect. Over, I would recommend.

  I ordered these Irish Setter boots in a true size and discovered they’re a half size too small. When I got the pair that fit, they fit perfectly. I took a 2 mile walk in them with my dog running alongside, and they felt terrific. They felt comfortable on my foot while driving, and like a part of my foot while walking. The Irish Setter Kittson boots are excellent and I highly recommend them. And remind all that they’re not a true fit but a half size small.
